S5 to S7 convertion problem

kanan Posts: 133 Rating: (2)	Dear All, I have problrm with s5 to s7 convertion, durion convertion it gives errors which I can not remove. For example s7 can not undestand s5 block "RS" . sps-concept Posts: 642 Rating: (131)	hello, you must look wich function has e.g. BS62 and program this function in S7. Which S5-PLC is it? Maybe the BS60 - BS63 is for SINEC-communication. Regards Kanan Hello Kanan I looked at you S5 Program and the error file from the S5 to S7 converter. Depending on the Processor you are using the "RS Area" is 256 words long in the internal system RAM of the CPU and contains information that the programmer can acces and evaluate internal system data. For example in a 948CPU RS 60 to 63 are avaliable to the user to store a value. Other RS Areas are used to access the current plc cycle time or other system errors. Please look at the your CPU manual to find out the correct assigment of the RS area. Have you looked at the rest of your error file, I see that the program is using OB224/225 in FX1 called from OB20/21/22 to generate DB's and DX's. You should also find out the time interrupt for OB10 and OB13. You can also delete FB51. This FB is not needed in S7 for the HMI communication. Regards / m.f.g
