roby64 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	I've the same problem, i try to insallal over the existing PCS7 installation with the upgrade option, but find a problem with the Visual C++ runtime and now work arond for solve it.

And I suggest you don't update it. If you need contact also with Siemens supports and ask for details about the right way. Roby64, I am afraid the only safety way to solve your problem is with new installation of software. (new OS). Don't try to correct registry... Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Jazz_M Posts: 1121 Rating: (86)	a Hi roby 64 I agree with umecho u will have to reinstall the software but do not try to modify the registry. Best method will be format your system and reinstall the software completely but i installed the same in my project and worked like a charm..
