Analogue module fault

The system will then inform you if anything goes wrong with you module in firing an OB82 Diagnostic Interrupt. OB 86 Loss of RackFlt will help you also when losing a whole rack, due to PS failure. regards

PCBuctot Posts: 24 Rating: (3)	Aside from what OlafS1 said, you need to use OBs, particularly Asynchronous Error Interrupt OBs (OB 80-87). These OBs are not only capable of sending information about the cause of the fault (if properly programmed) but it also helps protect the system in going into STOP in case of a fault. Check the online help for the Asynchronous Error OBs information.

Jazz_M Posts: 1121 Rating: (86)	Hi aaguiar I think you need to activate the "Report system error" in hardware configuration in step7 You will find it as follows, Click on the cpu that you have selected, Then click Options --> Report system error, You need to select the options and then say ok. Please note that your WinCC project has to be intergrated in your step7 project other wise it will not work as you have to compile your os. Have fun.
