Tag Logging Script for creating csv

AppeltaartD Posts: 76 Rating: (6)	Hello Experts. I have been looking for a way to log tags in such a way that its not date/time oriented but tag oriented. I found the following link: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/28937151 and its exactly what I was looking for. I do understand that Excel versions before 2007 have the row limitation of about65.000 and I have to think about how to work with this limitation. I expect that I can adjust the script that it looks for the row its trying to fill? Maybe someone has been trying to do this already? I'm planning on using the clock memory bit with the 2 second timer to trigger the script. Another question: Does the script for the MP277 work for all MP's or is there a certain range of HMI's where I could use the same script? Looking forward to replies. Kind Regards, AppeltaartD

In this case you just have to edit the storage path. I don`t think that it is possible to adjust the script in this way to look at the row. best regards.

AppeltaartD Posts: 76 Rating: (6)	Hello Sandman, thank you for your quick response. I just heared from my superior that the 65.000 rows is more then plenty. All I have to do now isinvestigate onhow to change the storage title to the batchnumber in most cases but I think I'll manage.
