How to read/write variable in S7-300 CPU313C from TP177B HMI Panel

kaspergl Posts: 39 Rating: (1)	Hello all experts! I have a S7-300 CPU313C and a TP177B Touch Panel, and i wish to read/write a variable in the CPU313C from the panel. In this project I have a temprature transmitter (4-20mA) where I can see the room temperature with my FC105 block in my LADDER diagram in Step7 when I switch the monitor on (Works fine). Variable name: "temperature" Variable type and adress: "MD44" Output: 0 - 60 (degrees celcius) (Is that enough information...??) Now i want to display that value on my TP177B in an I/O field Could someone help me with a VERY SIMPLE step-by-step example... just so I can see the way to read (mayby write if i want some sort of setpoint later...) a variable! Communication setup in CPU313C (Step7 V5.4 +SP5) & TP177B (WinCC Flexible Compact 2008) and so on..... Is there somehow I'm able to test the CPU313C without HMI panel, and reverse! Just jo test if the communication works... (transmission rate ..etc..) Is it PROFIBUS I have to use or...?? Thanks! Kasper
