Check for duplicate output coils?

Wulfgar Posts: 42 Rating: (3)	How do you check for duplicate output coils in Step7? Most PLC software packages have a compile option to check for duplicate coils. So far I've been unable to find any way in Step7, in fact I do not even see any compile options. It doesn't appear that the assignment page shows duplicates differently either. If there is not a way do people just manually look through the whole cross reference to find duplicates?

Just select in LAD-STL-FBD editor the simbol you want to serach, right click on it and then select "Go to location", you will see a small window with the cross reference reated to the symbol you have selected. I hope this helps.

But sorry, it is only in german language and you need a german AWL-Source.

You can find Cross Reference under Simatic Manager->Options->Reference Data->Display By filtering the outputs, you should have only one instance of each output with W (Write).
