Set system date/time from internal tag

joedub Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am trying to update the system date/time with an internal tag. My connection is Modbus/TCP, so a date/time tag is out of the question. I am using the date/time area pointer and job mailbox to sync the date and time between the PLC and the MP377. However, now I am trying to have the date/time update automatically after I enter a new date/time on the MP. The only events available are "Activate" and "Deactivate", which don't accomplish what I need. My thought was to create an internal date/time tag and use the change event to trigger an internal bool. I would then use this bool to write the internal date/time to the system date/time. Is there a better way to do this? Is there any way to do this? Thank you.
