ravi53 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	S7-300 Help need Hi friends Presently I'm working on a project includes Bar code reader(Size:6 bytes) and Leak test Data(Size:10 bytes)....Controls IM-151-8 and A touch Panel TP121.... After testing each Component gives me total 10+6 bytes and i'm storing it seperate DBs....(dw10 and dw11) My promblem is Now I need to to Store 500 Component Data (i.e 500 * (10+6 bytes)) in PLC or TP(HMI)... and it shld be updated every time like FIFO type.... can u help me to crack it................

Darius Platinum Member Joined: 9/28/2005 Last visit: 12/9/2025 Posts: 2957 Rating: (243)	Hello, Its not good idea to store data in PLC, better is to use HMI with SD card. Here you can configure storage buffer for 500 (or whatever) entries and you can make this buffer to act like FIFO.

It should be no problems with that. Or download this manual http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/18796010 and check chapter 9.
