Cpu 416-2 DP and Simocode communication with PCS7

ABD Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	Dear All I want to communicate with S7 400 CPU 416-2DP with Simocode in profibus system through PCS7 .Can any body guide for this comminication or through which block I can communicate ,and what are the necessary steps..and also pls guide where are the necessary blocks in library for this communication.

Hi ABD, Can you tell me Which Version of PCS7 you have? For Simocode Block's in PCS7 you Required the SIMOCODE Pro Software For PCS7 V7.X you required the 3UF7982-0AA10-0 Update for the PCS7 V7.X

Nil96 Posts: 325 Rating: (14)	Dear ABD, I do remember a project where in we did all the communication to Simocodes via profibus from 417-4H. We directlly wrote to the I and Q address by making use of cyclic receive and send bits. This was a kind of tedious job. May be u can use Simocode ES Software for fast & easy pgm. Gud luck. Nil

Nil Hi, Nil96 is right You can used the Cyclic Send Receive bit which you want from the Simocode, & used the Exiting PCS7 Blocks for the programing & Simocode ES Sotware Enjoy,
