DB comment lost with cpu 315-2DP

nicolas21240 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	hello, i have a problem with a CPU 315-2DP V3.0.3 i change the value of DB by the MP277 and after i update my program . when i update my program from CPU to PC i lost comment of DB but not all it's the first time that it's arrive on this CPU and i always do it like this normaly this problem arrive when there is a diffrence between the offline and online DB thanks for your comment

Take a look at What is the significance of the initial and actual values of a data block? And just to have an idea: It's possible to store the complete programm, including Symbols and Comments: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/14053219 But the MMC should be large enough. nicolas21240 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	i work only with actual value so if i didn't change the structure or the data online i could save my comment in my offline program when i update from the cpu with comment. it works usally when i change value offline and transfert it after. the only thing that change is the modification of the actual value by the MP277 and after i update. it seems that the Step 7 verify the 2 DB ( offline/online ) and when it see that actual values are different it lost comment for me it's the first time that arrive and i don't understand why thanks for the answer

Anyway, since SP3 of Simatic Manager v5.4 any changes in DB (not in structure) is necessary after that to download DB in CPU in order to have online actual version of this DB.
