Fast I/O 840D

aprl0755 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	We are using an 840D NC on our laser work cell. When the NC finds the start position of the cup that we are welding , the NC will command the laser to start welding. A photo eye is used to find the start position and is connected to X121 Fast I/O connector. Also the command (output) to start weld comes from this X121 to the laser. X121 on other machines is used for handwheels and probes I have read. We are looking for any information on Fast I/O , X121 How to address, how tosearch in sortware. Hardware?
