aikona Posts: 487 Rating: (36)	Also on a related note : we stopped using global data because .... it is 'invisible'.You configure global data BUT nowhere in the software can you cross reference this . example of a problem we had .... configured data MW 80 tot MW88 ,Used in PLC only MW80 we needed to change the software , did a cross reference and used MW86 and we kept getting wrong statuses because MW86 was configured as global data and receiving status from another PLC Eric

And rename data block as "RECEIVE_INFO_FROM_CPU1" or "SEND_INFO_TO_CPU1" then everything will be ok. Also take a printshot of global data table into project. then it'll be safer twice. I think this is very easy way for communication.
