MP277 communication with Simocode Relays

Nil96 Posts: 325 Rating: (14)	Hi, Got a application where in a MCC feeder has 8 Simocode relays and these simocodes should be connected to MP277 on profibus. On the MP277 touch screen, various parameters like current etc should be displayed. Infact way back we have done similar kind of thing but all simocodes were connected to PCS7 DCS. In the present case since there is no PLC or DCS, how can we make MP277 touch screen to extract data from simocode?? Regards Nil

RPP Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Since the MP277 or for that matter all Simatic Panels are PROFIBUS Master Class B, why can you not just simply connect directly to the SIMOCODE? I have done this with ET200 as well as drives without using a PLC or Win-MP.
