Hello sus; First here is an application note from Siemens on winder technology for the MM440, which includes information and blockson dancer control: MICROMASTER 440: Basic Winder Drive for Steel Wire Now, if you do not feel your skills and training are at a level where you would program such a system without destroying hardware and risk hurting people, take a step back to understand what you need to do in this application before you start. One recommendation for basic understanding of PID controls is Ron Beaufort's series of articles on P, I, and D in PID: http://www.plctalk.net/qanda/showthread.php?t=13459 Ron takes the time to define each term of the PID algorithm in a non-mathematical setting, with simple and comprhensive examples, so that beginners are not overwhelmed by the physics and arithmetics involved. One you have a grasp of the basics, you can look up more standard presentations and tutorials, numerous on the web. |
