ANDYS_VENTCROFT Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Im currently trying to multiply 2 REAL numbers as shown below. However when i try to download the function i get the following error. (D280) Error compiling block in S7-300 CPU. L "TU_TR_PITCH_REAL" //Load the traverse pitch into ACCU 1. L "TU_TR_TEMP4"//Load the value of ACCU 1 into ACCU 2. Load the value of temp4 into ACCU 1. *R //Multiply ACCU 2 and ACCU 1; store the result in ACCU 1. T "TU_TR_TEMP5" //The content of ACCU 1 (result) is transferred to temp5 I have also tried using FBD, but still get the same error. Any ideas ?

ANDYS_VENTCROFT Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Yes, all Values are REAL, Temp4 = MD246 - REAL Temp5 = MD254 - REAL TU_TR_PITCH_REAL = MD250 - REAL I'm just about to check the addressing, make sure that it is not an invalid address area and nothing is overlapping. Thanks Andy
