Copy data log

dipakkadam_619 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello all, I am fairly new to WinCC Flex. I wish to transfer a data log from one log to another on a trigger automatically. Now when I use the sytem function like copylog or archive log, what it does is only copies the last data entry of one log to another and not the entire log. I also used scripts, but again it wolud do the same thing. I am sure i am doing something wrong coz all it does is copy the last data entry instead of the entire data log in .xls

FunctionVratiDatumVrijemeISO(False) returns date in ISO format. This works for cases where logs are saved in CVS or TXT format. For RDB files, you have to temporary stop logging and then copy file (or use ArhiveLogFile function) and restart logging. Best regards

fbelic Posts: 327 Rating: (28)	Of course there is an error, because VratiDatumVrijemeISO is my custom function. I use it to create a folder name that can be sorted by name and date. Anyway, use Date(Now) or something like that. I don't have WinCC flex right now, but it think it goes something like: ime = "d:\teo\ivankovo\logs_old\" & CStr(Date(Now)) Best regards
