Enabling Free Function Blocks via AOP/BOP

Technology Team Platinum Expert Joined: 10/11/2006 Last visit: 9/5/2025 Posts: 6038 Rating: (828)	Hello Graeme, yes this is possible, you need to change on CU p9=2, then go to p108, select the index for the relevant drive object and set bit 18 to one (for example old value 00000004 hex to new value 00040004hex). Change p9=0 and after the initialization you have the free blocks enabled. If you have AOP it is more comfortable, but the sequence is the same.
