Feed override

sh1363 Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	Hi I have a question about feed override in sinumerik 840D but I didnt find it in doconcd. When we change the feed override in desired velocity or determine desired feed by G01 in NC programs,What happend in control loops of drive?witch part of the control loops change? Thanks alot

The setting of the feedrate by G01 or feed rate override only changes the command and not the control loop. The speed control loop works by asking the motor to accelerate until the command is equal to the tacho feedback (generated digitally now fron the motor encoder). Maybe you can explain what you want better. Pee

The drives control loop is defined in drive setup data and does not change by altering the feed override.. Only the command is changed. Maybe tell me why you need the information and I can understand your question better. Pee
