String data (from CANbus) and PLC communicaton??

ossoo Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am using S7-200 CPU224. I have a problem about data conmmunication. The case is like this: I have two batteries. These two batteries send string data which contain State of Charge, Fault and some other information, via CAN bus. I need to decode from these string information to get the State of Charge, like full? or empty?. Then based on these information to give command. I have no idea how to do achieve this by PLC. Since I am new to PLC. Does anyone have suggestions? I'll appreciate a lot. Thanks
