i need help : i want to connect absolut encoder ( GXM1W PARALLELEOUTPUT) to counter card siemens forprogramposition off machine . i want to known witch card to choose and how to connect card to encoder. im working with cpu siemens 318 . thank you. AttachmentGXM1W.pdf (451 Downloads) |

Hello BRmichel while my french is a bit rusty, it seems that your choosen Encoder does indeed have a 24 bit parallel output connection (12 bit resolution perturn, 12 bit multiturn resolution). What you'd need for your S7 300 to connect it are simply 24 Digital Inputs, e,g, a single 32 DI (6ES7321-1BL00-0AA0) will do the job quite nicely. I hope this helps |
