Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, the EM277 is a DP-Slave. If the Master sends data, then the data will be recieved in the V-Memory of the PLC. However: The only thing you have to do in S7-200 is: Handle the data from/to the Send/receive transfer buffer. S7-200 can not be a DP-Master so you don't need to configure the functions you mentioned in the S7-200. Because this has to be done in the DP-Master. So if your device is not a PD-Master, then you can not communicate to a S7-200 . Hope this helps

Then you can communicate with your 200 with PIW and PQW. In your 200 that will be VW. I have included parts of a project, to explain a bit more. Attachment 277.pdf (248 Downloads)
