Trig CPU on\off externally

Do anyone know ifan adress orcommand are available to execute this function ? As it is possible to switch the CPU into start\stop from Simatic Manager, I was hoping the same could be done from other devices in the network. Thank you for your time

You can go the half way: For STOP you can callSFC46 "STP". As far as I know the switch on the CPU or STEP7 software is the only way to activate RUN. (If you use a WinAC you can use ODK to toggle the operating mode)

Capriconian Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	You can Start/Stop the CPU from Simatic Manager as following: 1) Right Click the CPU and goto PLC-> Operating Mode -> "Here you will find option for stopping and starting the CPU" Also, there is shortcut Ctrl+I for reaching the operating mode. Regards Capriconian

Stopping is easy, but i think you never get it started (only manual or with S7 manager) What is your plan, why you want to do this?
