Dark Star Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi I have a CP 524 (6ES5524-3UA15) connected to S5-155U-CPU984 I can't conneted to Cp throught cpu with step5(DOS)software and i can't connected to cp directly either. I want to download or upload a program from cp.please tell me what should i do. and what is the best way to connet to cp(directly or through cpu). Thanks

Simaticus Posts: 262 Rating: (24)	Hi Dark Star, a cp524 cannot be read online llike the cp525. The only way is to power off the complete system and to read the eprom module. Hence you're going to need either a pg or a parallel prommer. This requires a Step5 version V6. Let me please recommend V 6.65 or 6.68. btw: A usb-prommer won't work... Good luck
