putting a value from hmi into Siemens PLC

ni1 Posts: 50 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I am using Siemens Simatic Manager Software V5.4. I want put a value from HMI to PLC. For example, I want to put 300 from touchscreen to PLC. For this, I have to use DB, right? If any one know ,Please advise, how to do for this . Thanks. Thanks& Best Regards, Ni

Chilly_Garfield Posts: 316 Rating: (37)	Hi ni1, yes, you can use a DB. If you have a integrated WinCC flex project you can address all symbolic variables. The rest, the writing of the value you have to do in the hmi project/program. What for a HMI program do you use?

So, in channel configuration, you can define, datablock number and data type and its position in DB. regards
