Particularly if you have some OPC tasks running behind. Just to analyses what the problem let me know the following. 1. Which version of Simatic Net are you using. ? 2. Are you using a CP interface? 3. In the task manager,watch the memory of the service called " scorecfg" orsomeother servicetypicalcontaining withs7or opc and see if it is increasing as your laptop is running. Can´t guarantee that I can help you but had some experiences with this problem.. sojust trying to match the symptoms. Krish

Jazz_M Posts: 1121 Rating: (86)	Hi well some times when i put my laptop to hibernate or to standby the net pro will stop the process and say update netpro. please check the drivers installed in the system, Did you update your os with automatic updates. because some updates are not compactable with it. Try upgrading your step7 to V 5.5 along with netpro. have fun...
