MM4 with Profibus and encoder showing P-----------

Jean-Francois Posts: 36 Rating: (0)	Hello I have a foreign customer with a MM440 C frame drive, running a small motor with an encoder feedback. Their is also a Profibus module to have the status word read by a plc It was working fine for a while but now according to the customer, it is showing "P-------" on the display for 30-60 minutes without working properly and then goes back to normal operation. What would cause this issue ?

AFP Posts: 7 Rating: (1)	Usually when is not a Hardware problem is because the I/O board isincorrectpluggedinto the drive. Recommendation: Turn Off the dirve, take off the boards and modules, the I/O board, clean the contacts, plug againeverything, power again and try. Take a look in: /tf/WW/en/Posts/38421 Regards.
