Fani.Ing Posts: 77 Rating: (3)	Hi I have problem with Step 7 license. It is working on one computer and when I transfer it to another computer I got error as soon as I start simatic manager. I have checked with the support and they told me you need to format your computer. The license was working fine before on both computers. Do you have any solution to get rid of the this problem without formating the system?

IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (1000)	Formating will help nothing. take the COL, call the number that is written on the Stick and the hotline will repair the licence.

You got it when buying the software. There and also at the USB - Stick is a telephone number for the authorisation - hotline. This numer is different depending from country. Where you are coming from?

Is it working? If yes, then the problem in the second PC. You can re-install the software and try again. If no, then the problem is in the licence it self, so call Siemens Hot Line as IBN-Service adviced you. Please tell us what is the version of software and ALM?

If you set the computer time zone to one of the following cities, the licece key will not work! Caracas: (GMT-04:30) Newfoundland: (GMT-03:30) Tehran: (GMT+03:30) Chennai,Kolkata,Mumbai,New Delhi: (GMT+05:30) SriJayawardenepura: (GMT+05:30) Kathmandu: (GMT+05:45) Yangon: (GMT+06:30) Adelaide,Darwin: (GMT+09:30) Please see the whole thread here: SIEMENS Licence Key does not work in these cities! Hope this solves the problem.
