backing up the project

Is it documented somewhere that on closing a project the database is supposed to be detached? I am searching through the WinCC Information help but haven't found any reference to this yet.

I asked if the databases are supposed to be detached automatically, here is the answer: ---quote--- In rare cases it might happen that when closing a WinCC project not all the the files are closed and detached. It is then not possible to access the data of the WinCC project or delete the project using the Microsoft Windows Explorer or archive the project using an archiving tool like Pkzip, for example. Remedy: Run the "Reset_WinCC".vbs" file by double-clicking it in the folder "...\Siemens\WinCC\Bin". Now you can execute the operation required. Note: If there is a space in the name of the WinCC installation directory, the databases are not detached when you terminate WinCC with "Reset_WinCC".vbs". This is the case, for example, with installations in English Windows 2000 / XP if WinCC is installed in the ...\Program Files\... folder. The "Reset_WinCC".vbs" file must only be used in exceptional cases and never used for fast termination of WinCC. ---end quote--- So it looks like the databases are supposed to be detached automatically when closing the project.
