Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (19)	Hi people, i was trying to use alarm_8p and integrate it with wincc i tried examples on documents, i tried soome other things but with s7 5.4 i couldnt do it. Do you have any experience? this is what i tried : I inserted alarm 8p block called it in fc and called it ob1 then in speacial properties i wrote some alarm texts. then i tried to compile it, it compiles it transfers merkers selected from symbol lists(operator control function) but no alarms are generated. what do i dont do ? :)

Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (19)	thnx for tip, actually i tried 2 pdf's with alarm_8p examples i could't figured it out. but with this one i could do it just with a small difference,(maybe bcozi have 5.4 doc is for 5.3) when you enter texts it wont trasfer it to wincc when you press more in that menu you enter text again in the additional texts and it transfers it. actually when you transfer it as doc says it transfers it to wincc/text library but you dont see it in alarm msg text section. btw is there any documents for describing s7 attributes ? for example s7_m_c, s7_alarm.. a reference list ? thnx

Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (19)	btw i did similar setup to alarm_8p block but its not worked then i changed cpu to 300>400 and it worked.. so maybe just maybe alarm_8p is working only in 400's..
