Simatic Batch PCS7 PC Reboot Error

Mervs Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi I have an error message that pops up intermittently. A "PC Reboot Error" pops up even when there is no activity on the System. ie. When no Batches are running. This error forces you to shutdown and restart the server. Any ideas

Posts: 73 Rating: (6)	Dear All, I am facing a similar problem at one of my sites where we have recently supplied a PCS7 + Simatic Batch demo system to one of our customers to test their MES application. On this system we have loaded a PCS7 demo project which runs on PLCSIM, PCS7 OS, Batch Server + Client. Details of the system are as follows: ---------------------------------------------------- Operating System : Windows XP SP2 PCS7 Version : PCS7 v6.1 SP2 Since yesterday we have been facing the problem of PCS7 Reboot error popup on this demo-station. We are unable to trace the reasons for this reboot error occuring frequently. I am attaching log files of the demo PC.Please help, if you can in diagnosing theerror. Regards, Krrish!! My system does not have any LAN connections and no time-sync is required asPCS7 is running on PLC-SIM. Will try upgrading to SP3 and also scan the system with suitable antivirus to see if it helps.
