Use PLC tag condition to enter screen in op

Riesen Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello! I am programing a siemens PLC system for the first time, so far so good, almost ;). I use Simatic step 7 v11.0 basic programming tool. I have a physical "service" switch which I want to use as condition to be avalible to enter some diffrent screens. How do I do this the simplest way? Setup: PLC Simatic S7-1200 CPU 1214C HMI KTP 600 Basic color PN Greetings Johan

In the Service screen you could force the different outputs to the machine. It should not be possible to enter the service screen when the switch is false. This switch also disables all the sequences in the program. In the Service screen you could force the different outputs to the machine. It should not be possible to enter the service screen when the switch is false. Please se attached, I hope it will bring it clearer. Yes it is possible. You can generate a common interlock bit for the Service screen navigation. EX: M0.0 Use the interlock bit at the Visiblity property under Animations of the navigation button which navigates to the sevice screen from Main Screen as shown in the attachment. There is a HMI_tag, (Service_screen_approved), go to properties -> Events Then you can assign a function when Value change "Activate screen" There might be a problem, becauis when tag goes from 0 -> 1 it activates screen but also when it changes from 1 -> 0 (So perhaps you will have to change PLC program ) Best regards, Wizard
