Hello,

in our company we have a electrical crane which is controlled by a S7-300 system. On this this there are some malfunctions to solve. To make measurements in this crane I can connect a Dewetron to record the behaviour of the crane but there are no analog output modules connected so I have to extend the hardware as well as connect cables.

I wonder, are there softwareprograms which run on a laptop on which you can connect the PLC to, so you can record the values directly on the laptop using Simatic S7. This is must more simpler and less hassle with cables and extending the basic hardware just to make a measurement.

Anyone has experience with this method of measement ?
