Hi Greg_Houghton You can check the following function developed to copy a certain amount of bytes from a soure DB (specified starting address )to a destination DB, same amount of byte and arbitary starting point. The block copies a data area from one data block to onother. The source area and the destination area are specified with "data block number", "data word address" and "number of bytes". The FC assembles the required ANY pointer from the provided data and utilizes SFC20. This is part of sample codes developed for Hans berger's "Automating with STEP7 in STL and SCL".The source codes can be downloaded from here:
