Hello,
I am fully agreed to my colleagues. It is not legal to upload or modify download program to the CPU with password. The only way to do it is to know the password. You may think that you have the rights to have a software backup just in case there is a problem in the CPU. You are right. And you can backup software to a memory card and restor it from memory card to another CPU. For more details, please see this thread: Backup the program from a password protected plc s7-200You may want to reuse the CPU with a new program, In this case you can use CLEARPLC password. It will delete the program on the CPU. And another possibility is to use Wipeout.exe wizard. This program is available on MicroWin CD and also online. |
