Connection New motor to Masterdrive VC

mmtkaya Posts: 24 Rating: (0)	Hello Everybody, I am using masterdrive VC drive. I will change motor which connect this drive. But the new AC motor's power and current values higher than the old motor. After connection , do i need to make optimisation or tunning ? If answer is yes ; how do i make optimisation? What kind of optimisation or tunning (dinamic , static ..etc..) do we have? Is there any optimisation procedure? King regards...

Vithani Platinum Expert Joined: 7/8/2009 Last visit: 6/7/2025 Posts: 1977 Rating: (479)	You have to go through Drive Setting mentioned in Manual Chapter 6.3.3 And regardinig Optimisation, if you are using V/F then no need of that, but if you using Vector Control mode then you have to perform Optimisation. Optimisation techinque is alse mentioned in same chapter in Last (Manual page 6-65 and 6-66) Regards Devesh

But which motor parameters shouldI change? power current power factor effiency voltage speed is it enough?? Thanks in advance..

Hi, Yes, this procedure is correct, the drive must be started to after P115=2. Please put as much data as you can find on the motor rating plate. But as a minimum, you must enter Current, Voltage and Speed. Regards, Graeme
