Bah..I dont get this thing to communicate with my 319CPU.
In HW-config I have added the ProfibusDP/Simovert/Masterdrives CBP2/Vector Control Plus.
(I have also tried to use the CBP.. but same poor result)
319CPU is defined as master on the bus, the profibus cable only runs between masterdrive and CPU, and end-resistors are ON in both ends. Profibus-card isin masterdriveslot A (at the top).

Profibus adress is set to "23" both in HW-config, and in masterdrive-parameter P918. When I search for Accessible nodes, I am able to see the masterdrive as "23". I use message frame 1, with inputs and outputs to adress 308.

When i go online in HW-config, the masterdrive has this unavailable red dash across it. Online status is:
Module configured, but not available
Preset/Actual mismatch:
- Expected type:DP Slave (compact) (MASTERDRIVES CBP2)
- Current type:Not available"

I have made a test-chart where I send a word to PQW 308, and read from word PIW 308. Needless to say..there is no communication :( I send all 1's, socommunication bit 10 should enable the PLCcommunication.

I have connected the CW-bits to 3100 and up.
In DriveMon profibus-diagnostic I choose StandardTelegram 1, but it is not receiving anything..

Installed SW:
Drive ES Basic shared components 5.4 + sp4
Drive ES Simatic 5.5
DriveMonitor 5.4 + sp2
Drives Simovert(and others)5.4 + sp2
Step7 5.5

I assume there is something wrong with the HW-config, since the drive is unavailable. I did not have the 8045 GSD-file installed, (dont know if I need it..) I found it online, and copied it into my directory. When I use "install GSD" to browse for the file, I find nothing..hmm..

So, anyone got any idea why the drive does not want to communicate via profibus? : ]

Since nothing was working, i decided to replace the drive. After doing so, it fired right up.
