PCS7 V7.1SP2 to SP3 update

PPND Posts: 103 Rating: (7)	Hi, I have a project which is developed in PCS7V7.1 SP2. Also during the project the Rack PC's were ordered which came with pre installed. PCS7 V7.1SP3 hence before the testing of the project i updated the SP3 also for my development. Later it is seen that the standard face plate of Valve and motor which has button of Interlock or Permission is not working. This was observed after the update and compiling the OS entirely. Also the navigation button on the interlock faceplate is also not working. After update the project had asked for update of a block(FB134) which was also done as suggested. Please let me know that is there any issue of similar kind that is faced by any one else and the solution for the same. For quick reference i am attaching the screen shot of the faceplate that is not functioning. Please check and provide a solution for the same. Attachment Face Plate.JPG (135 Downloads)

PPND Posts: 103 Rating: (7)	Dear All, As suggested by you i hav already tried running the OS project editor and compiled the OS too. This has not yet solved the issue. the manuals(documentation) says that this functionality is not avalable if OS simulation is running on the ES. I just want to ask that if i have ticked into options in WinCC (Allow RuntimeActivation on ES) does that mean the same as putting OS in simulation on ES.

I did Perform: Create / Update Block Icons for the project and it worked fine. I also tried the same things as described by you but at end Create / Update Block Icons for the project worked..
