Thanks Dear afroz, The easiest way as I experienced was reading Hans berger's book in STL and also I was familiar with microprocessors' programming language (Assembly ).So the following book would be a great official reference: Automating with STEP 7 in STL and SCL And also check the following links: STL-instruction list Statement List (STL) for S7-300 and S7-400 Programming Programming Languages LAD, FBD, STL Best regards, Hamid Hosseini
