Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	1) From v2.6 you don't need any mmc (didn't try it by myself) - you can download firmware online from PC. 2) Using mmc card is also possible - i downloaded image of OS to card via Siemens PG. Maybe you can do it with CardReaded - but upload image of blank MMC - there is risk of incorrect formatting!

Kevlar Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Greetings, I am about to try this V3.2.4 upgrade but the 'online' (via ethernet from my PC) instructions are in German. I think I've translated them well enough, but there are 3 .UPD files. The instructions for the "MMC" method states that the CPU.UPD file is used, no mention of the other 2. I think the KOMP_1.UPD is the update file and CPU_HD.UPD is needed to make a update-MMC.For the online update is this not important, because you "have selected a file". description: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/44442927
