Two PTP CPUs and one third party panel !

Here is my ordeal now, I have two 224 CPUs connected as point to point technique, my costumer is demanding to connect a third party touch panel (WEINTEK "MT6070iH"). I usually connect the panel with one CPU without any problem, but for this case I am not so sure. My question is, is it possiblle? Regards. Tomy.

umencho Grandmaster Joined: 3/21/2006 Last visit: 1/10/2026 Posts: 10247 Rating: (1183)	According to panel's specification MT6000 are equipped with 3 serial ports which can connect to 3 different PLCs/ controllers simultaneously. Specially for Siemens PLC according to "How to use 187.5K on S7-200/S7-300 PLC" you will need a connector for COM1 (order Nr. RZC004850) in order to extend it. I repeat my question again, does the referred panel connection with one of the CPUs may cause problems like distortion or something like that? Regards. Tomy.
