Analog input module - current input

PilotPM Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have analog input module 331-1KF02-0AB0. Module is configured as input current range 4-20mA. My problem is, when I measure input current 20mA, I read value somethink under 21000 instead 27648. I measured current by meter, so input is realy 20mA. Have you any idea why? Thanks Pilot

The value pertaining to the reading you get is some where around 16mA. If you measure current in parallel you may have a difference in the physically read and module read value. Also hope your cable is shielded properly to ground. How about other values you get in between 4 - 20 mA?

Calazans Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Well, if you're saying that the wire connection is ok, you should check your hardware configuration. Wich option are you using. 4 or 2 wires connection? And what connection did you do? But we can't forget the noise possibility.
