Make up of a string

The String is $01T10128??<CR> and am programming as such:- L '$0' T db170.dbw10 L '1T' T db170.dbw12 etc...... for complete string Problem is the L '$0' does not work as Step7 does not accept this and truncates it to L '' How do I enter this string into dbw10, must I used ASCII codes or is there a text syntax that I could use? Thanks in advance. Philip

When you define a String type in a Data Block for instance, they are automatically are entered before your characters. You have to verify if they are really necessary to be sent, if so anoption would be – in case of an array of characters – load the Hexadecimal equivalent of them B#16#0A and B#16#00.
