Dear Friends,

I am using S7-300 ( Simatic Manager V5.4) for my new project.

Now I am facing a problem for the following condition.

There are Two Tanks ( Tank-1 and Tank-2 ) to use.
When Tank2 is disable, Tank-1 will be used.
When Tank-1 is disable, Tank-2 will be used.
When both Tanks ( Tank-1 and Tank-2 are Enable condition), I want to use Tank-1 as default.

I do not know how to write program for Tank-1 is default when both of tanks are Enable condition.

Please kindly advise for this.

Let's see how we can use idea of"selection" based on
basic binary instructions and a "MOV"."Tank number" is saved
in an integer or a byte address:

1-If 'First Tank Enabled" transfer "1" to "Tank number"

2-If {'First Tank Disabled" and "2nd Tank Enabled"}transfer
"2" to "Tank number"

3-If both tanks Disabled transfer "0" to "Tank number"

Thiscan beeasily implemented in LAD and ensures
"Tank1" would be prior to "Tank2".
