DB as output parameter

I would like to transfer at FB the name of te DB, for example "DB230". In my SCL code I have one array of byte and in the DB I have te samedata type and length. I tried this code: VAR MSGPC : ARRAY[0..99] OF BYTE; END_VAR VAR_IN_OUT DATA:ANY; END_VAR and then erg := SFC20(srcblk:= MSGPC, dstblk:= DATA); But this not work. This is all ok. Is it correct? now in my SCL FB I want to modify a single byte: DB6.data[x]:=16#FF. Is it possible? nowire

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	If you need elementary type change (1,2,4 bytes) then use following WORD_TO_BLOCK_DB(DB_number).DBW6 := w#16#1234 But if you dont know absolute address of memory cell inside DB (in my example it's DBW6) then you should use ANY pointers and SFC20. 1 more thing - if you change several times inside cycle maybe it's better to crate buffer with all values, that would be entirely written to 1 DB once a cycle.
