Hello to all,
I'm new to Step7 and have minimal experience with the system.

I have been working with an existing WinCC project, that is attached to a production S7-300 project.
I need to make a variable in Step7 available to WinCC, but I am being very cautious about making any changes to the Step7 project.
The amount of documentation is overwhelming and I have difficulty locating information relevant to my objective.

Could someone advise me of the steps to make a variable available to WinCC.
