Using S7-224 to read\write data from SLE4442 Smart card

Luay Khoury Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	Dear every body We have a vending machine project and we need to use a smart card vending system our controler is S7-224 and our smart card reader is KDM-9650 which work on RS232 protocol and we alraedy have the RS232-485 converter My quastion is how can i read and write data to SLE4442 smart card (Product of SIEMENS) so i can program the smart card to have an amount of units and to decrease this units according to the sales operation. Thank you

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, I expect you need to create a freeport communication. See the S7-200 manual and the Tips&Tricks for S7-200 concering freeport (ASCII) communications. The instruction you have to use are: XMT (send) and RCV (receive). Hope this helsp
