WinCC V6 SP2 hangup

The project is running on HP proliant server Dl380. The clients connect to the server project runtime. from time to timethe server completly hangs up and we have to some times turn off the power to restart the server.We suspected the server and we changed it completly but no success. We suspect the problem is related to WinCC itself but we are not able to find any clues as the system completely crashes. Any known reasons to this problem? Thanks [:)] farra

You can run your WinCC clients on your Microsoft operating system but not your WinCC server => please check this FAQ http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21927773 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/24368350 Anyway I would personally prefer Windows XP for my WinCC clients and Windows 2003 SP1 Server for my WinCC server. nemo
