Question 1) After giving 24V supply, is there any Light on Profibus Module? Red/orange or Green? 2) What do u mean by Adapter? Are you trying to Upload Parameters from Drive to PC? IF yes, thenn what do you mean by this adapter? Are you using Drive-PC kit for MM series drives? Try to insert BOP on Module and check whether you are able to see parameters or Not If Not, then Most chances are, you have not mounted this Profibus Module properly Have a look at following FAQs, that will be useful for you The display on my BOP shows "- - - - -". Dear Vithani, Thank you for your reply. The adapter that I mentrioned is 6ES7972-0CB20-0XA0 SIMATIC S7, PC ADAPTER USB . Profibus module is connected to MM420, the orange LED blinks. I connected "adapter" into profibus module, and it doesn't turn on LEDs. Then I connected 24VDC to profibus module, again "adapter" doesn't turn on. |

Hello, The mentioned adapter will not work with MM4. You have to use6SE6400-1PC00-0AA0. And also, have a look on this helpful FAQ: Hope this helps. |

Dear Elotaify, Is it possible to download program through PC -> PLC -> MM420, or I must have 6SE6400-1PC00-0AA0 for downloading program into MM420. Thanks. |
