Today I'm going to do a project that using PLC S7 - 224XP as a master to send the character string (5 characters like "12345" or sometime "hdloH"") to many PIC16F877A as slaves via RS485. I use the PC to control the PLC by means of port 0 with PC Access to count how many product that have been produced. Total amount of product (or character string) will be sent to 7 segment led board (5 leds) that using PIC16F877A for monitoring. I wonder if I could use the port 0 to send the value/string from PLC (considering that I use MW100) to PIC by RS485.

If someone who have some experience about this, pls send me the solutions.
