It is possible put my defined analog signals in any memory position usingDIGSI software or there isany restriction? I want to read RTD motor temperatures, butthe default memory map does not include these signals. Many thanks in advance

Unfortunately for measurements there is not so many "free" telegrams. If someone needs more, must change the communication protocol. Mike

I never needed any extra measurements only used what is already defined in Digsi. It was alwaysmore than enough for me. I have used mA inputs for some special measurements.

Here is profibus DP and there are some mappings already defined with quantity of information that can be send. You cannot sent more or less than what's defined on these mappings. Mike

I can remember when I worked with SENTRON WL CB's they had already predefined three basic types but it was possible to send some other measurement. but only in place of some other. It was possible to modify mapping. Data point. Best Regards
